What you need to know:

Objective C language knowledge

Be up-to-date with the new technologies, especially on mobiles

You don't need to have iPhone/iPad development experience

Be able to use English at least at middle level

Good to know:

iPhone, Android or WP7 development experience

Other programming languages

Be flexible and dynamic, this is a very fast moving area
